Lunch - The Weifang Style~

5th Sept - Saturday morning.. Dragging my lazy body, back to our "War room" for another day.. Although the fire fighting is over after 2 weeks of hard work, we thought it was just natural to go back to work on weekends..

Let me describe our work place in Weifang.. We don't hav an office here, thus we had converted one of the hotel room into our working place.. Every morning, I just need to take a lift 8 levels down to our "so called office".. Cool huh !

After working for half an hour, our teamlead came in his usual red shirt:“不用做了,全部回去休息吧!”(Go back and take a rest).. As "hardworking employees" like us :p , we were reluctant to leave until 老赵 (our teamlead) suggested an appreciation lunch in “开心就好”(Just be Happy Restaurant)..

Located not far from our hotel..

It is consider one of the high class restaurant in Weifang..

I guess 老赵 had ordered more than 15 dishes but there were only 9 of us.. This is not the first time we been here.. The last time we ordered 12 dishes and there were still a lot of left over when we left..

Curiously, I ask my local colleague, is it common to order so many dishes although we know we can't finish them. She replied, if the guest manage to finish all the dishes that are being served, that means the host has not ordered enough food for his guest. So usually the host will order more..

"Ohh I see".. 原来如此~ No wonder I had gained 4kg extra for the past 2 weeks after trying to finish the left over :( .. Baka~

Among the highlights:

Raw prawns..

Seafood Soup..

Of course fine dishes accompanied with 烟台啤酒 (Yantai Beer)

We had been 乾杯,乾杯 (ganbei ganbei) for the whole afternoon, finishing over 30 bottles of Yantai beer.. some colleagues can't even walk straight at the end :p

Last word from 老赵 : 大家辛苦了!

“感谢赵总,乾杯!!”

As claimed by Stanford Medical, It is indeed the SINGLE reason this country's women live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 kilos lighter than us.

(And actually, it really has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and EVERYTHING to "how" they eat.)

P.S, What I said is "HOW", not "what"...
