Upon reaching Tai-an town, weather was bad that day, it rains heavily in the morning and we are forced to cancel our trip to Taishan mountain.

Thus, we had changed our plan to visit Confucius Museum and San Kong (三孔 - 孔庙,孔府,孔林) Confucius Temple, Confucious Residence and Confucious Tombs. Thus we took a cab and traveled some 75 Kilometers from Taishan to Qufu (曲阜) where Confucius was borned and where Confucius Museum and San Kong are located.

Arriving at Confucius Museum-

Landed On The Same Place TWICE

19 Aug - Arriving at Beijing office at 8.00 in the morning, what a relief seeing a similar office in oversea. I was supposed to get a ticket from the staff to get to Dezhou via bullet train, however, the day is still early and no one has arrive yet.

Was checking my mail while waiting the staff to arrive, and found out that the project team had landed a "surprise" mail to me, my itinerary to Dezhou is cancelled, and I have to get to Weifang on the same day. It was such a last minute change.

Due to the only flight from Beijing to Weifang on that day was 7.30am in the morning, I had already missed the flight and thus they had arranged my flight to Qingdao departing at 7.30 evening on the same day, and then there will be a dedicated driver taking me from Qingdao to Weifang for another 2 hour journey.

Disaster starts here..

Went back to Beijing Capital International Airport for the 2nd time on the same day, this place is as crowded like a weekend shopping mall, flooded with locals and it took me quite a while in the queue before manage to check in my luggage and get my boarding pass.

Photobucket

Waited at the terminal... at 7.30pm, I received my 2nd surprise of the day, the flight was delayed from 7.30pm to 8.40pm due to lightning storm over in Qingdao airport -_- ... Well, China Air is generous enough to provide free dinner and drinks to affected passengers and the locals flock to the counter to grab their food as though they are catching a running bus @_@ .. Welcome to China..

Photobucket

So we waited,

waited..................... gazing at the sunset

Photobucket

and waited................. counting the airplane landing one by one..

Photobucket

At 8.30pm a 3rd surprise came in, the flight is further delayed to 10.40pm @_@.. Man.. whatever.. And the waiting continues ... I got dozed off for a while because I didn't manage to sleep well during my last night flight from KL to Beijing..

Finally we took off at 11pm.... and the story doesn't ends here...

After an hour flight, we finally reaching Qingdao's "air space"... yay.. my 4th surprise of the day.. the captain announced that due to the heavy storm in Qingdao airport, we have to fly back to Beijing again and hopefully we can get back to Qingdao when the weather is clear -_- ..

WHATEVER Lah..... and so.. I had landed on Beijing airport again for the 2nd time at 1 am in the morning and waited (actually I had already dozed off) before the next announcement..

Photobucket

Finally... finally.. after waiting for 1 and half hour in the plane, we took off AGAIN at 2.30am from Beijing to Qingdao..... This time, we REALLY made the landing at 3.30am.. Dragging my lazy + exhausted body (not to mention my luggages) out from the terminal..

Reaching Weifang Hotel at 6.30 morning after a 2 and half hour ride from Qingdao airport.. A nice bath and bed is just like paradise...

What a 1st trip.. camping on flight twice, and landed on the same place twice.. Yay.. lets do it again.... X-p

Night Flight

18 August - Night flight, remembering the last time that I took a night flight was the trip to Korea 7 years ago.... Feeling? the trip to Korea was meant to be fun and enjoyable with a big group of friends; Now, this trip to Beijing alone is meant for projects and assignment, of course there is anxiety running in my mind.

Photobucket

Emotions?? Kinna mixture actually. Travelling oversea for assignment is probably something I want to experience, having a good exposure to the culture and people from other part of the world. Some part of me feeling quite reluctant to go, probably lacking of break and rest after a long assignment few months back.

However, this is just the first trip for many years to come. Just have to remind myself 莫忘当初,坚持到底 ~

What's running in my mind right now?? Thinking about the 6 hour flight later. Having experience with the awful seasickness in the past, I am just wondering how long can I witstand before getting sick in the plane agian .. @_@

Sunrise in Beijing is rather early. You can see a complete blue sky at 5.30 in the morning.

Arriving Beijing at 6.30am, Beijing welcome me with rain..

And The Story Begins ~

And The Journey Begins~

The Broga Story

16 Aug - 6.30am, arriving at the entrance, I was surprised to see the amount of cars parking along the road and we were forced to park a couple of hundred meters away. Although this is my 4th trip to Broga hill, this is the first time I see such huge crowd hiking up the hill. No more uncles and aunties that I used to see, but a crowd of youngsters who are late teens or early 20s.
